AdventuresJH was inspired by a conversation on a fun night out at the Silver Dollar Bar in Jackson Hole. In between cowboy swing dances, founders Peter Brighton and Brian Schwartz were talking about their adventures when they wondered how they could help visitors have more memorable experiences. They came to realize that there was no central place to view or book Jackson Hole adventure excursions online. Between the two of them, Peter and Brian had more than 30 years of experience working in technology and marketing. With a whiskey in hand and the hum of the blue grass band in the background, AdventuresJH was created on the spot.
Their goal from beginning was to take the stress out of booking adventure excursions and create a cost-effective way for adventure outfitters to connect to visitors and focus more on the experience they were providing.

Betsy Davis came to Jackson in 2017 from the east coast where she worked in education and data management. Aside from work, she has spent her life enjoying the outdoors, starting at a young age spending her summers in Wyoming. This love of the outdoors led to a geology/environmental studies degree from Tulane University and participating in numerous adventure tours and activities with NOLS and other organizations. The transition to living in Jackson Hole was a natural one. She spends her spare time in Jackson skiing in the winter and hiking, boating, paddle boarding and cycling in the summer.
